Psychiatric Evaluation of Children and Adolescents (90 minutes)
$590
The evaluation process is divided into two main components: First, we will do an in-depth interview with the parents or guardians to understand concerns and gather essential background information. The second component involves interview with the child or adolescent. The insights gained from both the parent interview and the child assessment are used to develop a personalized treatment plan, which may include recommendations for therapy, medication, or other interventions, all tailored to support the child's well-being and mental health goals.
The two components may be done in 1 session or split into 2 sessions.
Follow-up Visit / Medication Management Visit (25 min)
$205
Follow-up visits are a crucial part of ongoing mental health care. If prescribed medications, the doctor will evaluate the effectiveness, side effects, and overall impact of the medications. During this visit the psychiatrist reviews the patient’s symptoms and adjusts dosages as needed to optimize treatment outcomes. The goal is to ensure that the patient is receiving the right medication at the right dose to manage their mental health condition effectively while minimizing adverse effects. This visit also provides an opportunity for patients to ask questions about their treatment plan, voice concerns, and receive support in managing their mental health journey.
Psychiatric Evaluation of Adults aged 18+ (60 minutes)
$390
During the evaluation, we take time to explore a person's medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle factors, and any past mental health treatments. This process includes in-depth discussions with the patient about their emotional well-being, challenges they may be facing, and any relevant life events. Based on this detailed evaluation, we work with the patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include therapy, medication, or other appropriate interventions to support their journey toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
Families of young adults may instead choose the 90 min eval if needed.
Extended Follow-up Visit (50 minutes)
$350
An extended medication management visit may be necessary when a patient requires more time for comprehensive evaluation and adjustments to their treatment plan. This type of visit allows for a thorough review of medication effectiveness, side effects, and any changes in the patient's symptoms or overall well-being. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for therapy, which can address emotional, psychological, and behavioral factors that influence mental health. By dedicating more time to both medication management and therapy, we can ensure a more tailored, holistic approach to care.
